I could use that anvil. I'm thinking about making my own knives(I'm sure my wife is excited about that)

Nice finds, the post could only be made better if that was a Hay Budden anvil...
How about this Peter Wright. Don't know the weight but think it's close to 300lbs.

Yea, me too. Can't tell you how many I've seen over the years dirt cheap. For some reason they have gone significantly upwards in price

$150-200 for a no name example, check your local Craigslist. Budden or Wright's can cost you 5-10X that even for a 100lb example...
