My Son Found a Drill & I don't Mean Craftsman
My Son has been clearing an old fencerow with a dozier between our farm & my Uncle's place. While he was building a new fence, he looked down & eyeballed this Native American flint drill. Tnmountains (who I consider quite an authority on N.A. artifacts) says it could be any time period from Woodland to Archaic as drills were used as tools in all of them.
We frequently find points in areas where Native Americans hunted away from likely camp sites but the drill was a good distance from a water source as shows up today. HH, Q.
