All last week the ocean was a little to rough to get into the water. I figured as soon as it calms down it should be good since hopefully some sand moved around.

Got out yesterday morning (Sunday), for a few hrs and the water was calm and clear. First find was the 14k white gold earing, and the second is a .925 earing.

Not big pieces by all means, but still excited about finding gold and not getting skunked! LOL. This is the 5th weekend in a row that I've found at least 1 piece of gold. I know it's gotta end sometime, just hope it's not next weekend! LOL!!

Thanks for looking!

Floater hasn't posted since Hurricane Wilma last year. The last time I talked to him on the phone he said that the forum and detecting was interferring with his work, and really haven't heard from him since.

I hunt often at his beach in Ft. Lauderdale, and haven't seen him either.

Saaawwwwweeeeeetttt finds. I'm still looking for my first piece of jewelry that I can keep, so I'm a little green with envy.
