Well, I guess I should say two and a half spoons this year since half of this spoon is missing. I hit the old, vacant lot again day before yesterday and came out with yet another silver-plated spoon. This one was made by R.C. Co. (mark not pictured) and dates back to the early 1900s. The mark that is pictured appears to say PAPAPO.SON but I could be wrong. It's hard to tell even with a magnifying glass.
Strange that with all the wheats and other neat items I've pulled out of here I have yet to hit a silver coin. Same can be said with the other vacant lot I hit where I found the 14k gold plated ring w/o the stone. No silver. Oh well, there's a few other lots I've located that will hopefully produce some silver coinage.
Last of all is pictured a neat Home Depot find...a cool little headlamp for only $12.95. Puts out a nice circle of light right where the coil will be swinging after dark. Now I can do a little night stalking myself.
