The Vegas Department of "IMMY"gration finally approved my Visa and it arrived today.
But you cannot believe the restrictions they put on someone wanting to come into Vegas. Below are just a few of the numerous restrictions which appear to be designed to curb competition.
I tried to tell them that my wanting to come to Vegas would not hamper them in their pursuits and that my presence would be good for their economy. I was only interested in doing jobs they themselves would not do and that I am not a criminal. I would be purchasing local goods and that it would stimulate the local economy. Oh and I pay taxes on the things that I buy.
Here are some of the restrictions:
1. I have to stop at the famous sign and check in.
2. Next I have to fill out a form stating I agree with all of "IMMY"grations rules and regulations. Can you believe its only available in English!
3. I cannot send any monies back to my family in Texas. How will they survive?
4. I will be given a list of any and all places I cannot buy coins to search or sell my "Culls, Dumps, Rejects, Unwanteds, No Buenos, etc., etc..)
5. I must report all finds immediately via "PRIVATE MESSAGE" to the "IMMY" himself.
6. I must pay a "Pleasure Tax" upon leaving Vegas. This could be any amount up to the amount I bring with me. Said something about having to compensate "IMMY" for his possible losses. HUH ??
7. I have to also leave a small portion of my "BankRoll" in several casinos of my choice. Seems they need to remodel a few of these Billions dollar Behemoths.
And Last but not least, I had to memorize this slogan.
"WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS, STAYS IN VEGAS!"
Trust me, the Vegas Department of "IMMY"gration has given this slogan a whole new meaning.
Leaving soon, Wish me luck.
