i found my very first ring at a park today! :headbang: sterling silver with little dolphins and turtles on it. after cleaning it with a makeshift electrolysis set up and some light scubbing i saw it was stamped DF 925 12 . i know 925 means sterling silver but can anyone tell me what the other two stamps mean? also what do you think it is worth? thanks!

Nice find skydiveking! Now, I have no idea what I am talking about but after searching the net - everything I found with DF was from Mexico. As far as the 12 - 12 Karat Gold (Found more out of the States). Jump over to MARKS STAMPED INSIDE RINGS! for more info. Hope this helps...

Great Score! Size 12, made by DF

Worth the sentimental value as your first ring or silver find and it's weight in silver. The first is probably the higher of the two. Might get offered a buck or two if you went to scrap it.

Awesome! Nice Find! Many More! H Digs :)

Thats a very nice first ring find!:icon_thumright: Cannot really recall what my first one was like.

Get Digging!

The first of many! Groovy find!

That's an excellent first ring. Nice find!
I agree that the 12 is probably size 12.

Congrats on your first ring! :icon_thumright:

Nice! It reminds me of some Hopi rings I have. Except I've never seen any with dolphins.

Heck of a 1st ring! I think mine was just a junker. Congrats

Now that's a great first ring.big o heavy silver ring to.

Nice find. My 1st ring was junk. I'll sell it for a dollar or two, but I'm not going to sell my 1st silver ring.

Nice find dude! :)

For scrap, silver is worth about 1 dollar per gram...looks like that ring weighs 8 to 10 grams...nice find...a 10 gram 14k gold ring would scrap for $300.

Great first find, congratulations! :icon_thumright:

Congrats on your first ring - hope it's the first of many to come - HH
