hey guys, heres a summary of 2013 for me.... my year started out in mid march and ended in early December due to work/vacation/holidays, I had much better luck with permission and finds this year, even stumbled upon a colonial house site in a cornfield, anyhow I have over 20 pics but bare with me, I think they came out pretty good lol
12 large cents of varying years including a no date draped bust along with a no date shield nickel, a no date half cent, and a 1864 2 cent piece:
12 buffs some w dates, some w/o and 2 V nickels:
8 indian head cents:
my favorite relic, a Lincoln campaign union themed stick pin front and back:
some weird coin/token thing with what looks like Egyptian theme on it, its only about the size of 1/2 of a standard dime front and back pics:
buckles, suspender clips, thimbles, and misc. relics:
intact cufflinks from same site the LCs came from:
over 70 colonial buttons, some w/ gilt on them, some w/o:
332 wheat cents of various years:
1909 vdb (no S) front and back:

24 silver coins (not as good of a silver year as I would've hoped for):
6 non coin silver items:
lead seals and some lead balls:
tootsies:
automotive section:
1869 mason jar lid:
princes pat tin:
misc. locks, silverware (plated), and other odds and ends:
keys old and new:
tokens front and back:

closest ring to real gold this year (18 kt gold filled)
12 junk rings:
other junk jewelery and misc. items:
thanks for looking at all these pics, I know there is a lot but I felt I had a pretty good and fun year and wanted to share all my best finds. One thing I learned this past year is I need to make more time for metal detecting, and I finally got up the nerve to ask permission at random sites and its paid off, would've liked to hit the 50 mark w/ silvers but I came up 20 shy, like I said before its all about making more time, if your too busy to detect, your just too busy lol. Heres to a great 2013 and hopefully an even better 2014, thanks for looking, happy holidays and HH!! cjon455
