aaaah !! I have dug me some big ol' holes. But I don't have patience to dig 3 days.

Hell if you had some sand bags you could have made yourself a fighting position.

It's the Summer sun gyps......you're still in the Winter glare mode. I have to say, I think as soon as I saw it was a bumper, I'd have moved on. Looks good in the yard though.
