I have a very small yard. Have detected 10 times this month for practice. I set my xlt in pinpoint my and had a good positive read would change 30+ to 94+ and in between dug a 1936 penny that was straight up and down @6 inches. Just try all kind of tricks to find hunted out ground.

Yup,I have a pretty good size yard that I hunted several times with my XLT.I hit it from different directions,use different programs,use slower sweeps,faster sweeps and so on and it seems that I always dig up something every time.Even if it's just a lone zink.Ya just never know what will come up next at so called "hunted out" sites.

I used to love to hunt my own yard when I had a small amount of time available. Never got skunked!
