Found this “badge” a few days ago in Baltimore. Been trying to ID who would have worn it and what it came off of. But I’m a googled out. Hoping someone here might have some insight. It’s pretty heavy for it’s size... a hat maybe?

I think that is the insignia for The Order of the Polar Star.
