Hello all, I am looking for some information on this stamped brass piece that was recovered in Louisiana. They almost look like Palmetto leaves. The top is curved around over on itself. No idea how long the original piece was.

Thanks for your help,

Buck

Reminds me of old furniture leg adornments.

I agree, too.

Try searching 'brass furniture appliques'.

I'm just a Yankee . . . but aren't Palmetto leaves pointy?

I think it's just a style/design element.
