My 11 yr old found something this spring that kinda looks like what is shown at the 1 minute mark of your video. We did some searching in this forum and are calling it a quarry blank.

More than one picture will help. I can’t tell if it’s thin or thick. Also need a picture of both end’s and sides.

The type of hand axes in the video are too old to be found in North America. As far as to what purpose, I guess you can’t say for certain but id say the multi tool sounds pretty good to me.

Finding thousands of these little flint tools in Africa might explain the use of a flintstone thresher being drug over the ground for thousands of years. I've always considered these little worked artifacts as mentioned an all around bladed tool to cut hide, gut fish or shave bone and wood.
