MTTS,
Good on Ya for bringing your daughter with you, there will be that time when she will have a good time though you might need to spend more time with her than prospecting at least at first. I began bringing my children with me along the NFAR trails in 1970 as each child turned 4 years of age, swimming and playing with them was first on the list then there was the first time my daughter (born in 1966) caught her first fish, psychologically she was Hooked! Then of course there are the evenings curled up together at the campfire after a good meal and me telling her (them) true stories of my childhood. And pictures of the trips to share with each other as well as those at home. Also enjoying butterflies and lizards was a real plus for them. I stayed especially close to my children on these trips as the rattle snakes are there and I did not want any of my children to be bitten. As they got up around 18 and they were carrying a .22 with bird shot I did not stay quite as close to them but still to this day I watch out for my children. Keep trying as the memories are so special!..................63bkpkr
