I dont bother with the updates, same as i dont bother with a running antivirus.Run your comp through a sandbox and turn off all networking settings.

sand box? is that a proxy or torrent?

Its basically a virtual computer, info has to go through the sandbox before it goes into your computer. The info can only go into your comp if you let it.Check it out. Sandboxie - Download Sandboxie

What else would you ever expect from Microsoft and a windows based program ? :dontknow:

I had my auto updates turned off, and for the last day or so, tnet wasn't updating current posts. I jump to my firefox, they're updated, jump back to IE, no update! :BangHead:

Last time mcafee wanted to update me, it stopped my whole computer from rebooting! :BangHead:
Had to uninstall the mcaffee. Man, I am no computer person, I know just enough to really mess up a computer! :tongue3:
I did the IE microsoft update, now tnet updates, computer reboots, everything seems to be running fine.
Not worried if big brother watching me, I'm not doing anything for them to be worrited about, other than voice a few opinions about my dissatisfactin with some of the ways things are, on planet earth.
So shoot me! :laughing7:

You should always be concerned about your privacy, even if you do no wrong...

Thanks for the reminder. I think sometimes, maybe one can tend to forget our liberties and freedoms, or take them for granted.
Your right though and thanks for that reminder.
