How well will the Nautilus DMC II B discriminate out iron? I've noticed some machines are better at it than others and digging up an old barbed wire fence at 12-14 inches down is not my idea of fun. TIA.

Discrimination is OK though as with all other machines the less you use the more depth.
If you zero the discrimination circuit so your hearing all targets then sweep iron you will find that much of the iron can be ignored before you have to consider discrimination. Practise all metal ID then switch the audio ID back in.
You will still end up digging some deep iron but you will have more good targets at the end of the day than with most other machines.

Please note that rusty iron will take even more disc. to null out. This will cause more loss of depth to turn up the disc. Sometimes we just have to dig some rust.
