I'm not an expert, but it looks natural. I find similar pieces around here. but wait for one of our resident experts to get an ID. will watch to see what they say
I agree with mamabear, It looks like a natural rock to me as well. Keep hunting for the good stuff!

Natural rock and possibly Limestone. Not an artifact.
