Funny you should post that, just last week they had a cat in the Santa Fe animal shelter that weighed 39lbs, I think he passed away last Saturday from lung failure Fat cat stuffs itself into Santa Fe shelter, now it needs a home - latimes.com

Man thats such a sad story my cat is about 16 years old so if he does go from overweight at least he was a happy kitty!!! my kitty only weighs 26 lbs
