Boy, had to correct my last post...must have been way tired when writing it ( it's still messed up in the quote on your last post, sorry).
That little book I mentioned (Christ in you)...well the title may be a little misleading, it embraces all ways of "coming home", and is/was way ahead of it's time, might surprise you in a good way.
Yes, agree on what you said about the "weird happenings" that lead to good things....
And...almost fell over when you mentioned "Yogananda"....I've loved him since I was a child, grew up going to the "Lake side Shrine" in Pacific Palisades! Would beg my dad to take us there, so magical, so special....although a swan did bit me once...
I also have his bio and "Man's Eternal Quest". Always felt "drawn" to him.
That new book your wife found sounds very interesting, will check it out...

But sounds like you're doing the right thing. My family member has the same "symptoms" and very bad nightmares. He does have a "belief system", so that's a HUGH help. I guess no matter what causes "PTSD", it's the same? Sorry...when I mentioned "M. Newton" wasn't thinking about the "R" thing & what you said before. If it matters, he (Dr.M. Newton) wasn't a believer either but, his patients got well after going through a "review".....so as M. Newton said..."what ever works". lol
and has a great sense of humor as well.
