I was driving to Jerome, I don't know the name of the road, but it was very curvy and on the edge of a mountain, and I found this. could it be anything?

It is not a fake wall. It is hand stacked rock that supported the old stagecoach road (now 89A) up to Jerome.
 
Get up there and hunt it!
