Need A Californians assistance...

I will be heading to California for 2 weeks in early June. I was hoping to get a locals input on where to swing. I fly in to San Fran & will be heading up to Redding area. Northern Cali will be the area I will be in for most of my stay. I've checked laws & rules already. So those are not my hang ups. Thank you for any responses. Us Ohio people don't get out of our own state much... lol.

I lived in Redding as a kid and the main river in town might be a place to hunt with a detector or magnet fishing. Good luck on your trip!

Well folks... Sad to say, I've been in Northern Cali for 6 days now and still haven't pulled the detector out of its bag. I truely hope that isnt the story for the remainder of this visit. I really want to post some finds from here. Wish me luck!
