I'm looking to buy a pointer. Any suggestions on which ones to look at or which ones to avoid? Looking for the best value.

I just got a cheap little pointer kit from serious metal detectors. They are having a sale

I don't have one, but I've researched them pretty extensively and my recommendation would be the Garrett Pro-Pointer AT pin pointer.
This is the one I will be ordering shortly. There are cheaper ones, but to me this is good investment.
