sorry for lighting up the forums im a noobie hunter with alot of questions
but i was wondering if there was any way to clean my large cent (its copper of course) I DONT CARE ABOUT THE VALUE I WANT TO WEAR IT AS A NECKALACE ! its my first really significant find. it really made me happy.
i already used ketchup, toothpaste, vinegar and it worked pretty good but there is still a couple big green mounds of corrosion. there was more but i got it off revealing the detailed coin underneath !
now is there anything i can use thats pretty heavy duty to get the rest without ruining the detail of the coin beyond recognition?
the previously stated methods jsut didnt cut it....
CLR or something like it maybe?? am i crazy ? haha.
it would really make me happy to wear this on a small gold chain so it would be nice if you could read the date without staring at it
