Need advice on the Sov XS 2 A Pro

I may purchase a Minelab Sovereign XS 2 A Pro.

It has the meter.

Was this (is it) a good machine?

What can you tell me about it?

It is a good machine that is why they still sell it after all these years AKA SOV GT.

iv had 2 of them,they were great beach detectors.only problem i had was the battery door's would ware out and not stay closed. iv now got another GT and love it!

I run a Sovereign XS still today to me it is no diffrent than a GT my grand son runs a GT . My XS will do any thing the GT will so i stick with the XS it is a great detector.............

I Still use the Sovereign XS 2 PRo since '99

The Battery Door Stays Closed on Recharable Packs.

But needs to be Duck-taped shut if using AA's
the adapter is too long

Only problem if you don't mind the Weight
