need help identify??? 1853 no arrows seated dime or 1857 ??? please help!!!

got this coin is a mixed lot cant tell forsure if its a 1853 no arrows seated dime . in considering having it graded if its a 53 no arrows . any info / help would be appreciated. thanks

Looks like a 7 to me hh

Not much doubt; clearly a '7' (flat topped with 'pointed upper corners') versus rounded top and no 'corners' on top of the '3'. One clue is to look at other samples of 1853s and 1857s, then the difference is more obvious.

As stated before, it's an 1857, study the top of the 7 by comparing it to other 57 dates.

i just looked at mine the 1857, 1839,1843,1877,1856,1862, has no arrows, 1853,1878, does

the shape of what looks to b a 3 is not the it is narrow as it comes down i compared to the 4 1853s i have ad 2 1857s and does look to be a 7, but i may be mistaken will try to get pics for you

It's an 1857. The digit in question is a 7 no doubt about that.
