Need help identifying crystal

My friend bought this for me but couldn’t remember the name of the h crystal. Help!

After looking at images of brown stones and agates, the closest to my naked eye that this piece looks like to my eyes here are two types of stones.

Septarian reminds me a bit of it..

Then there is Nguni Agate which imo looks to be a closer match.

I am not certain however. The only person who could tell you for certain I feel, would be a geologist.

Personally IMO Nguni Agate Looks very close.

In any case very nice sphere and display piece.

Looks like agate to me, a micro crystalline quartz,there are many various names, do to color, properties, or the location it was sourced, all are agate nonetheless, and any color is possible

Possibly be a sphere made from a thunder egg. Looks neat.

Does look to me like a septarian nodule or thunder egg possibly, so I'd concur with the other two guys up there ^^
