Need help in Minnesota...

Ok, I'm a studyer but have never hunted. Any general clues for Minnesota? I have a great collection of early 1900's pennys, and an extensive coin collection, but coins are not my main intrest. I live just outside of St. Paul,MN but can travel up to 350 miles, ie. North shore area... Any clues? ANY....

I lived in Watkins, MN, Grandparents were in Paynesville, and I graduated from Kimball 1981. I did alot of detecting when I lived there. The coins come out of that great MN soil nice, even the copper ones. I am in NC now and the acidic soil eats the copper like US munitions eat terrorists. Get on the hunt and find some goodies up in God's Country!! Bryan in NC
