Need help on more artifacts from the Masonic Field

This was found in the area that the Gold Masonic Fob was located. Any ideas , We think it is from John Haselet , George Washingtons right hand man . The coin in the first two pics is a dime and is used for size Thanks

I have never heard of tool check tags from the Colonial period in this country. The find dates to later on in the 19th c. Specific dates are anyone's guess.

just to let everyone know the land owner that has the property now has had it in his family since about 1860. i talked to him the other day and he said he would find his deed and let me know who owned the land prior to them. that may shed a little light on the subject. thanks again for the info

Don't know abut there but in Oklahoma the complete history of ownership of the land is on the abstract. But of course OK was Indian Territory and the history only goes back to someone like, "Amos Redcloud, a Cherokee Indian", (example only). Monty
