Need help with, I.D. on stone.

I am not sure what kind of stone this is, I found this piece on a very good site.

I think they call them discoidals. They're frequently (always ?) chipped and ground out of quartz.

A few up close pics would help in seeing a bit more detail. If it is a discoid from what I have seen it is probably quartz (or quartzite) as Uniface suggested.

A lot of the smaller ones were made from sandstone. I'd need to see some more pictures of it looking straight down at it and some from the side to tell if it's actually a Discoidal.
