✅ SOLVED Need help with pin ID

[smcdmc]

This was found by a friend of mine on a property we were hunting that was the site of a military academy in the mid 1800's. Don't know how far back the pin dates or if it is related to the academy or not. Any info on it would be appreciated. Sorry I don't have a picture of the reverse at this time.

Walt Disney Davy Crockett Frontier Marshall Badge 1950s

"Walt Disney - Davy Crockett Frontier Marshall Badge 1950's. Disney made both TV and film versions of the frontier hero stories, merchanise followed so children could pretend to be Davy. These items were popular and often played with, the majority of them not surviving the years, this shaped, metal badge has a black and white picture of Davy in the center, the wording 'Walt Disney's Official Davy Crockett' around the outside and 'Frontier Marshall' impressed underneath along with two crossed rifles."
