The one on the left appears to be a U.S. staff and field officers sword Model 1860. Between 1860 and 1872, officers could carry either these or the Model 1850. After 1872, the Model 1850 was removed from the regulations and this was the only sword approved for infantry officers. However, several fraternal organizations modeled their uniform swords after the Model 1860. I have seen examples with GAR (Grand Army of the Republic), SOV (Sons of Veterans, a sort of junior auxiliary of the GAR) and AOH (Ancient Order of Hibernians) markings, usually cast into the guard. Military ones will be decorated with various patriotic symbols.
I can't get a very good look at the handle of the second one. Does it have finger groove in the grip? If so it is probably a U.S. Model 1902 "Sword for all Officers" which became standard after the Model 1860 officers sword was dropped from the regulations in that year.
