I found this button at an old homesite in Hampton VA. The button is heavy as if made out of pewter or lead. The front is flat like a coin and I cannot make out any image. The back has the remnants of gold plating and has words around the outside. I can make out the letters "ORGA" and "MAN." However these are just parts of longer words on the back. If anyone can help me identify the button that would be very helpfull

I believe the backmark might be " • GEORGE SPACKMAN • PHILADELPHIA" — c. 1833-36.
