Looks like a horse tooth. Probably not fossilized.

Yes, from an equus horse, probably recent. It's a lower, third (last) molar.

Wow- Hasn't been a horse around since the 1940's when gramps purchased the property and sold the two plow horses.

Sixty years is recent - 160 years is recent - when speaking about fossils.
