The first object is a reed-body from a musical "wind instrument" -- such as an accordion or melodeon. On yours, the very thin sheetmetal reed itself is partially broken off. See photo below. The second object is a horse bit.

Actually they are not from accordions or squeeze boxes. I am working to clear that up. They are from pump organs or harmoniums. Squeeze box reeds and accordion reeds had a different shape.
