Hello just wondering if anyone can help. We found this tin toy while clearing a relatives house. I put it on a online website thinking we may get $10 or $20 however had a offer of $200 straight away. Doing a little bit research i then discovered another one which sold back in 2017 went for over $4000.

Just wondering if anyone has seen anything similar to this before?

Welcome to Tnet!

Having the box helps, I'm sure.

Welcome to Tnet

There are a couple of them on the TinToyArt website... one in the same colours as yours and another painted differently... both in the hands of Hong Kong collectors. No helpful details though, apart from an indication of a 1970s date, and no value given:

Apart from your own listing on Gumtree, there's a Pinterest image too from an old eBay listing but the link is broken. Did you find the original listing? If so, did it actually sell for over $4,000 or was that a speculative "buy it now" price that no-one actually paid? Seems awfully steep to me, even though there don't seem to be many of them kicking around.
