Need Your help on this Pottery Piece

Hi gang been awhile since I've been on, since moving just got everything unpacked and set up. But wanted to share this item that personally have not seen before. I got this of all places a thrift store. I guess someone donated a whole collection of rocks and gems(yes gems). But those of course the thrift store is getting appraised. I saw this in the shopping cart the lady was putting out to put on the shelves. it was with other rocks like quartz and some petrified wood etc.. So I grabbed it. What struck me is that this was a actual old piece, with typical damage. Made of stone/clay. It is shaped in a tiny genie type lamp. I am hoping anyone on the board could help/thoughts. What it is etc.. Size is only about 5 inches long.

Nice lamp, if it still holds oil, and you can find a wick for it.
