New Beach hunter came today

MY beach hunter came today, It looks good , slightly used, almost new . I'm gonna field test it in the morning . I'll Let ya'll know how it worked out.. watch out GOLD I'm coming. guzz1

Guzz1 I got mine about a week ago, still getting the feel for it, I don't get to hunt very long , I would be interested in your next report.

NO Problem , I'll post tomarrow after I get back from the beach . I'm little thrown off on the ground balance thing. from testing it in the back yard , it seems to be working flawlessly.I'm just gonna have play with it a little to get the hang of it . GUZZ1

HEY DAVE I'M still trying to get use to it ,, It was falsing some in the surf till adjusted the sens out . I just haven't had it out enough to draw any conclusions on it , I guess when I hit gold with it I'll love it.. I have an excal and its killer ,no question about it , GREAT detector , but a little heavy, but it hits targets big time . I'll keep you posted on my progress with the Beach Hunter .. GUZZ 1

The BH will false as the surf rolls over it, especially if your shallow, but you can learn to work with it with practice. There is no comparison between it and your Excal. I traded in my BH on my Sov GT, big step up there. I love the Sov GT with the wot coil.

Guzz1, the BH should be the back up for the Excal. If you carry the Excal around your neck there is almost no weight on the arm and it also make it less water resistant moving it back and forth. In the water you may find the silly floating coil has to be forced under. Unless you want to send it in and have the weighted coil installed, tape a sock filled with sand to the shaft or coil. This will help and you can take it off when doing the dry sand.
