Hello all;
I had joined this forum back in 2015. Was active for a bit until "life got in the way". Haven't done much detecting in the last 4 or 5 years. I retired at the end of 2025 and I am ready to get back at it. I even purchased a Minelab Exterra Pro for myself as a retirement gift. Looking forward to getting back out into the hunt as it has been too long. Hoping I can get some finds worth bragging about, other than my pull tab collection. Northern Illinois here, waiting for the ground to thaw.

Well 1st off-Happy retirement
Been doing that for 19 yrs now and I will try to give you a little insight on the whole retirement subject.

You get to do all those HONEY DO-LISTS that you never had time to do when you were working.

Thank you, any advice on the retirement thing would be greatly appreciated. Have plenty on the "to do" list, for sure, none of which I want to do, LOL.
