I'm making a couple of new cases out of snakewood from south America . I still need glass / foam / and cloth . This wood is expensive but I wanted something different . This case will be a site frame for Tilly's Hill . 24''x 24" inches .

WOW!! That is really some good looking wood!

Nice Job, very fitting for your super site.

That's some beautiful wood there and I've never seen anything like it. I'm a fan of quarter sawn oak myself. I should really get some decent frames and display my better finds in something like that.

Thanks,

It looks good. Look forward to seeing it when you display your artifacts it it!

Very Nice! That finished wood should add some eye-appeal to your artifacts.

Love the exotics. You might find it in a veneer as well. The frames is looking nice.

Very cool! I have some acoustic guitar parts of snakewood! Nice work!

You make some nice looking cases and that wood is outstanding

Sweet wood, great job making the frame.

That's beautiful stuff! I have a pal who's working some mango wood right now- another very rich, multi-dimensional- looking wood. Very nice frame. Hurry and fill it up and show us!

Where do you get the foam for the frames? Good quality foam is hard for me to find.
