New Creek and I Think It's A Good One
Closed the deal on some new hunting land and saw a creek that just looked good. I got in the creek at 7am and came out at 10am. I walked only a 1/2 mile up stream, but it was some tough going. This is what it looked like.
This is what the rock bars looked like
I didn't go 25ft and came face to face with a large cotton mouth, he was going down stream and I was going up stream. I gave him his chance to move on but he wanted me to leave and since I had already started find pottery shards, I had to dispatch him with my 44mag. My first artifact was the best drill I have ever found
After finding other odds and ends I found this point
Around here when you walk most of these creeks you run into a lot of road blocks, like this
This walking is not for the faint of heart. Well I forgot to bring extra batteries for my camera so it died, so I had to wait till I got home to take pics , so here is what I found in such a short walk.

The bones are fossilized and the large pile of pottery is over 7lbs, the other ones have design on them . I think I will go back there. Sorry I double posted the celt.
