New Detector, Any tips?

So I just upgraded finally (7 years later) to a brand new Garrett GTI 2500 and I was just wondering if anyone here owns one, has owned one and if they like or liked it? Any tips on using it that they don't tell you in the instructions would be nice to know as well. Thanks for looking.
