Hello all

My little guy finally got to go out with his "tecker" and find sometin tonight. We spent about twenty minutes in the back yard while big sis used her Discovery 1100. She found a few pennies and a large metal slug.

The little guy found thirteen cents, one small brad (hard to see but it is on the right beside the coins) and two roof staples with his machine we got him from Miner Mikes at Lake of the Ozarks. He had so much fun tonight I just had to share.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks for sharing. That's what its all about. Brings back memories of me teaching my kids to detect, and remembering turning 10 and getting the old Relco that my Dad started me out with. Thanks again.

Hi mastereagle
This post is a treasure in itself, with pictures like that.

Cheers, Mike

Great photos. Doesn't get much better than that.

Take them to the park. Tots hunting the tot lot. Now thats a picture.

I don't usually say stuff like this but if things get tough - 40 pull tabs in a row or nail after nail, I might think about bringing out the salt shaker. Just a little.

Great looking kids Eagle. Start them young and enjoy them while you have 'em they grow up so fast. Really great pictures. Thanks for the post. HH

That's so cool!! Great pic of the little one with his find! :)
I would love to do that with my kids, but they would probably find better stuff then me and they would be walking home ::) (I didn't say that outloud did I?)
With those smiles, I think you have future detecting junkies on your hands!

cute.

haven't thought much about getting the kids one. it made my 6 year old's days when we were ready to leave the playground the other day and I let her carry it back to the car. she just happened to pass over a dime--that she took to her church sunday school class to put in the collection.

You can find this same exact model with a National Geographic label on it for $14.99 at Target.
