New to this site. I metal detect very little when I can between work. I like to hike and prospect in the deep wilderness when I get a chance. Not much left around here in East Tn to prospect tho. Some old sites that have not been updated says we still can but the Forest rangers says only panning and only a sluice with no moving parts can be used in only 2 small streams here where I live next to Tellico. Anyway I enjoy reading the info on this site. Seems like a great bunch of fine folks wanting to help others.

Welcome to the Site.

I feel your pain , seems Most types of treasure hunting is getting harder these day's. With Hard to find Sites (Esp, in the South) & all the Legalities.
Best of Luck.
