I went to a new farm today, after meeting the farmer he took me out to show me around. He pointed out all the fields I can
do and showed me an area which was a medieval fair ;D

I could only handle three hours....it was freezing cold and the mud was unreal!

I got two hammered in the first hour :o
Followed by a nice little Horse pendant?

Also got a 17th c token :icon_thumleft:

Fotgot, can you make out the letters on the 17th C token?

Not many, it's worn very smooth :-\

A single large S in the top middle with what looks like "5 2 * o f" and then "smith" on the other side :-\

Not enough to ID then :-\ Clearly its dated 1652 then which is about as early as they come :icon_thumright:

neat one shaun....you an that crusader are A plus in the relic hunting in the uk for sure..des

Sorry Shaun for being late on your post. Fan conked out on my computer, so have little time each session to read all the posts before the computer overheats and turns off automatically.

Great horse piece. Love it. Coins are always great but leave little to the imagination for me, just look them up. These other type artifacts always have that extra hidden dimension of research and that great aura around them that says, "What in heck are you?"...And then that moment of knowing. Congratulations on a real beauty, with real age, and great condition, too.

May we all have great luck this weekend.

Thanks mate :icon_thumleft:

I love the pendant too! It's my first one and one of my favourite finds!

That's a nice hunt for three hours, sweet pendant. :icon_thumright:
Best of luck for the next hunt, the weather will be better.
