Being a logger for 18 years, the items you have there are typical of the early logging camps. One item you may or may not know what it is is that flat item to the right that kinda looks like a nail. It looks to be a well worn down "marlin" spike . They were used for splicing cable ends together or cable loops. As they wore down after countless sharpenings they were used for splicing smaller cables, what we called haywire. I've hunted many such camps and found the same kind of items. Have yet to find a coin. I don't know if you're into bottle hunting, but, using a bottle probe, I've found countless bottles just under the surface scattered throughout these camps. Many of them were "cure-all" medicine bottles. The reason being alcohol wasn't allowed in camp, but medicines were, most containing large quantities of alcohol. I think that's enough explanation in itself. A good expample was a Lydia E. Pinkam Extract bottle I found, which was for "female genitile disorders." Hey, as long as it contains alcohol, who cares if its only for a woman.
