New Ft. Ancient Point/Heart Breakers

I found this little Ft .Ancient point Sunday. And found the broke about a week before. They look like the same material as the blade/second pic. I also included my collection of broken Ft.A's. I have found ten whole points, so I feel my ratio of brokes to whole is good. My finds are off the broken plow path, at the edge of the field. Thanks for the look. Keith.

Now for a really stupid question. I hear and see alot of points from FT. ANCIENT. Is this a type of stone or a site that seems to produce alot of points? Anyway those are some really nice artifacts. Thanks for the view.

I have been hunting artifacts for about 18 months now. The farm I hunt/dig seems to have a good supply of Ft. Ancient flint artifacts plus pottery shards. The farm has been owned by my family for over a 100 years. All I know is its a woodland camp or village site Madwalker. SRV may be able to answer your ? better. I put three small trays together with a mixture of unbroken points/knives/celts, and gave them to my 3 daughters. I think each tray had 10-12 pieces in each. I don' think I took a pic of them, however I do have individual pics of all of my dig finds. I am now putting together a larger tray for my son who lives in Chicago. I plan to give it to him next month as he will be coming home to go morel mushroom hunting! I will post a pic. of the tray which is now full, before I give it to him. I am now hunting for more rocks to give to my 4th daughter who was married last summer. However, I had to part with my cache blades find to help pay for the wedding. I found the cache blades on the neighbors farm. I found them in March of 2010. They are the first Artifacts I posted on T-Net. Thanks for the look/post guys!

hope you find more mushrooms than we did last year. they were going for over a $100 a pound last year !!!!! thanks for the info on fort ancient, steve.
