Figured I would get this out of the way! Just bought a new Delta 4000, and looking forward to posting some pics of some good finds... Once I find some! I've always had an interest in MD'ing, but never pulled the trigger on one. I'm envious of the history I see in the States, and the finds I have seen come out if the ground. Best I can hope for is some coins and perhaps some jewellery here in Saskatchewan.

Haha I'm in Martensville, just north of Saskatoon. We do have some good history in Canada, but most of it is out east.

Check out the area around Batoche. Also lots of old homesites around Martinsville and North. It all depends on what you are looking for.

Anyone know of a reputable place to pick up a ProPointer? I returned the Delta and picked up an Ace 250. The cheap pinpointer that came with the Delta was better than nothing, but not by much. The Ace seems to be a more robust unit, and the two coils it came with was the much better deal.
