Hey all

I recently started collecting 1 ounce silver bars and have filled up this little box with them...
Then out of no where BOOM!
I am now addicted to collecting precious metals, treasure hunting etc.

Looking into metal detecting and silver scrap collecting and smelting into bars (maybe in the future)

Hello Ben and welcome to Tnet! Regarding smelting scrap silver, you will probably do better selling it to a refiner without smelting. You will get the same return from the smelter, and you won't have to have it assayed.
