like to start by saying hello to everyone.... new to the field and just got my first metal detector... it's a bounty hunter quick silver... probably not the best on the market but didnt want to dump a load of money into it to start with... i have turned up a few bucks in coins so far and a lot of junk but i'm having a good time with it so far... my question is does anybody have any suggestions on hunting place around chattanooga,tn... i live in rossville,ga and any place local would be appreciated.... any suggestions thanks

well i've lived around this area all my life i'm just not sure on any good hunting places....

best thing to do is check your local area for any MD clubs, they could be a great help. google is a great tool when researching civil war sites, pretty sure around that part of TN there has got to be a lot, and also make sure your familiar with the local law/state laws on metal detecting for your area.
