New guy in San Francisco

I had a Whites when I was a kid and just bought a Tesoro Outlaw. First day out in a local park, I found $5.50 in clad (mostly quarters) and a buffalo nickel. I was pretty pleased with the results. Most of the clad was quarters and the detector seems to work pretty well.

Looking to meet other MDers in Northern California.

Welcome to the forum! I have never used a Tesoro but I understand they pack a lot into a small lightweight unit and do well as a mid range detector. HH, Mike
