I'm beyond psyched right now. I found my favorite find to date today!

I went to a park this morning that was an old house back in the 1800s. The lady that owned the place donated the land to the town to make into a sitting park in the early 1900s.

My very FIRST target was this 1840-1860s New Hampshire Volunteer Militia button.

It was about 6" down and I'm surprised at the condition considering our soil up here in NH kills everything.

You know I'll be back at this place soon!

Thanks for the info. I didn't know that was what the people on the shore were doing. That makes me like it even more lol

That's just crazy. I was happy to find just 1. I'd cry tears of joy if I found that many.
